On September 1, Wuling officially launched the Yangguang Pro Extended-Range light commercial vehicle, priced at a fixed rate of RMB 104,800. Starting immediately, customers who place orders through official Wuling channels can enjoy up to RMB 11,000 in purchase benefits, which can be combined with national and local subsidies. Wuling states the operating cost is as low as RMB 0.26 per kilometer. The powertrain comprises a 1.5T direct-injection range-extender engine, a 31.9 kWh “Shenlian” commercial-grade battery pack, and a 55-liter fuel tank. The engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 39.3% and delivers a maximum output of 105 kW, while the electric motor produces 110 kW and peak torque of 280 N·m, arranged in a rear-mounted, rear-wheel-drive layout. With a vehicle height of 2,170 mm, it fits comfortably under standard urban parking garage height limits of 2.2 meters. It features large-diameter tires rated for single-wheel loads of 1,285 kg, a five-leaf high-load rear leaf spring suspension, and a body frame composed of 68.95% high-strength steel. According to official figures, since its market debut in 2024, the Wuling Yangguang family has sold nearly 170,000 units, maintaining its position as China’s top-selling new energy light commercial vehicle for 29 consecutive months.
