Three Departments Issue Guidelines on Overseas Competition and Compliance for Auto Industry

The Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the "Guidelines on Overseas Competitive Practices and Compliance Management for the Automotive Industry." The guidelines state that enterprises may adopt pricing strategies based on costs and guided by international market supply and demand, and shall conduct compliant price management for products such as auto parts and complete vehicles in accordance with laws and regulations. They must not disrupt market competition order to gain unfair competitive advantages.
