Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd. released its production and sales report for August 2026 on September 1, 2026. The data shows that the company sold 113,396 vehicles in August, a year-over-year (YoY) decrease of 1.87%. From January to August, cumulative sales reached 805,358 units, up 1.98% YoY. In August, new energy vehicle (NEV) sales totaled 40,700 units, bringing the year-to-date total to 219,985 units. Among these, the Ora brand recorded August sales of 11,018 units, surging 110.95% YoY, with cumulative sales from January to August reaching 48,227 units, up 105.83% YoY. Ora’s production in August stood at 13,494 units, an increase of 142.74% YoY. Overseas, Great Wall Motor sold 62,517 vehicles in August, with cumulative exports from January to August totaling 415,958 units. By brand, Haval sold 64,960 vehicles in August, down 5.73% YoY; its cumulative sales for January–August reached 448,522 units, up 0.44% YoY. Tank brand reported August sales of 17,737 units, down 11.41% YoY, with year-to-date sales of 127,618 units, down 11.19% YoY. WEY brand sold 7,367 vehicles in August, down 8.23% YoY, while its January–August cumulative sales totaled 59,606 units, up 13.39% YoY. Great Wall Pickup sold 12,288 units in August, down 7.76% YoY, with cumulative sales of 120,806 units for the first eight months, down 2.04% YoY. On the production side, Great Wall Motor produced a total of 118,316 vehicles in August, up 4.53% YoY, and 854,229 units from January to August, an increase of 8.76% YoY.
