Jaguar Land Rover is testing the fifth model in the Range Rover family—the Range Rover GT—which was spotted undergoing road tests at the Nürburgring on August 31, 2024. The new vehicle blends design cues from both sedans and SUVs, featuring a lower and more streamlined roofline compared to the Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque. Jaguar Land Rover confirmed in July 2024 that the Range Rover GT is an addition to the Range Rover lineup and will not replace any existing models. Built on the Electric Modular Architecture (EMA), the vehicle will be offered exclusively as a battery-electric model at launch, featuring an 800V electrical architecture capable of supporting DC fast charging up to 350 kW. It is expected to be available with either a single-motor rear-wheel-drive or dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain configuration. Future EMA-based models could also support hybrid variants. Official details regarding performance specifications and pricing have not yet been released.
