The vehicle measures 5,000 mm in length, 1,954 mm in width, and 1,688 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. Its exterior features an exclusive all-black high-gloss paint finish, accented by gold Volkswagen badges and orange highlights. It rides on custom matte-black 21-inch wheels paired with orange Brembo four-piston calipers and sports an integrated wolf-head-inspired high-mounted brake light at the rear. Inside, the cabin adopts a black-and-orange two-tone design, with orange contrast stitching on seats and steering wheel, and high-visibility orange seatbelts. The intelligent cockpit is equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and dual 14.96-inch 2.4K ultra-high-definition central displays. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip and running Volkswagen’s VW OS 2.2 Cloud Habitat intelligent cabin system, it supports customizable fused desktops, quick-access side-swipe panels on both sides, floating windows, over 50 built-in WeChat Mini Programs, and a microphone-free karaoke feature. Rear passengers enjoy left/right folding tray tables and a 6.7L smart climate-controlled refrigerator with a temperature range from -5°C to 50°C, offering cooling, heating, and fresh-keeping modes plus UV sterilization. The car also includes a UWB smart key enabling remote parking assist and centimeter-level seamless unlocking and locking. On the intelligent driving front, the ID. UNYX 08 Shadow Hunter Edition debuts Volkswagen’s VLA 2.0 end-to-end large AI model. Standard dual Turing chips deliver a combined computing power of 1,500 TOPS, supported by 26 high-precision perception sensors. System latency has been reduced from 200 ms to 80 ms, boosting decision-making efficiency by 2.5x. VLA 2.0 enables NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) activation from 0 km/h and offers map-free, full-scenario coverage—allowing the vehicle to autonomously navigate from its parking spot, locate the garage exit, and pass through barriers. It handles diverse road conditions including urban streets, campus pathways, and rural dirt roads, and manages complex scenarios such as narrow-road passing, navigating night markets, rerouting around accidents, and avoiding potholes. The system can also identify special road users like small animals, irregular three-wheelers, police cars, and ambulances. Under the hood, the vehicle is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture and powered by a 95 kWh CATL battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 730 km. It supports 10–80% charging in just 20 minutes. Two drivetrain options are available: a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version producing 230 kW (313 hp) and 465 N·m of torque, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant with a combined system output of 370 kW (503 hp). The suspension setup features a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent configuration, complemented by standard VIBAC dual-chamber air suspension and ZF DCC dynamic damping control—capable of adjusting damping 200 times per second and varying ride height by up to ±100 mm. Paired with Brembo front four-piston calipers and Pirelli P Zero performance tires, the vehicle achieves a 100–0 km/h braking distance of just 35.3 meters. Additionally, the standard ID. UNYX 08 will receive an OTA update starting September 12.
