Polestar 4 SUV Launches at €57,900, Deliveries Begin Q4 2026

Swedish automotive brand Polestar officially launched the Polestar 4 SUV on September 2, 2026. Positioned as a compact luxury SUV, the Polestar 4 SUV builds upon the design, technology, and driving experience of the Polestar 4 fastback while enhancing interior space and practicality. Production of the Polestar 4 SUV has commenced in Busan, South Korea, with initial customer deliveries scheduled to begin in Q4 2026. The Polestar 4 SUV is offered in two powertrain variants: - The rear-wheel-drive single-motor version delivers a maximum output of 200 kW (272 hp), accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, and offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 630 km. - The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version produces a maximum output of 400 kW (544 hp), achieves 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and provides a WLTP range of up to 600 km. All variants come standard with a 100 kWh battery pack, supporting DC fast charging at up to 200 kW and AC charging at up to 22 kW (11 kW in select markets). Total cargo capacity measures 1,680 liters. With the rear seats upright, the trunk offers 530 liters of space (655 liters to the roof line). Folding the 60:40 split rear seats expands capacity to 1,665 liters. Rear headroom has been increased by 2.5 cm compared to the Polestar 4 fastback, and the vehicle features a larger panoramic glass roof, available optionally with electrochromic glazing. The interior utilizes sustainable materials, including MicroTech upholstery made with 100% recycled PET, Tailored Knit fabric composed of 89% recycled PET, and traceable, chrome-free Bridge of Weir Nappa leather. The cabin features a horizontal center touchscreen and a driver display, with quick-access widgets expanded to nine. An optional Harman Kardon audio system with 12 speakers and a 1,400W amplifier is also available. Powered by the Google Gemini intelligent interaction system, the Polestar 4 SUV supports natural-language, multi-turn conversations and hands-free Gemini Live functionality. Through future software updates, the vehicle will gain Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, delivering up to 3.3 kW of external power, along with a new Camp Mode that provides climate control, entertainment, and power outlets while parked. In Germany, pricing starts at €57,900 for the single-motor variant, €65,900 for the dual-motor version, and €76,300 for the Performance Pack variant—all inclusive of VAT but excluding delivery fees. All versions are manufactured in Busan, South Korea.
