On September 1, 2026, Waymo announced the simultaneous launch of its paid autonomous ride-hailing service in Denver, San Diego, and Tampa. This expansion brings the company’s operations to 14 cities across the United States, with a fleet exceeding 4,000 vehicles and completing over 500,000 rides per week.
