On September 3, Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, revealed that Xiaomi would announce new developments regarding its automotive business during a live broadcast from the IFA Berlin consumer electronics show that evening. The livestream will also unveil the name, design, performance, and pricing of the Xiaomi 18 Fold, and will feature the first overseas showcase of Xiaomi’s Xuanjie chip and its CyberOne robot. According to prior reports, this marks Xiaomi’s debut at IFA, where it has set up its largest-ever overseas exhibition booth. Xu Jieyun, Special Assistant to the Chairman of Xiaomi Group, stated that Xiaomi will participate in IFA 2026 with its full “Human-Car-Home” ecosystem lineup, marking the official large-scale entry of the MIJIA brand into the European market.
