Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing revealed that Xiaomi Auto has signed agreements with eight leading German automotive dealership groups at IFA 2026 in Berlin, including Ernst Dello, Autohaus Dinnebier, and Emil Frey Germany—some of which have over a century of history. According to Lu, these dealers identified three key words characterizing their partnership with Xiaomi: “technology,” “premium,” and “ecosystem.” Notably, the Xiaomi SU7 was the best-selling sedan priced above RMB 200,000 in China in 2025. Xiaomi conducted extensive market research in Germany in 2024 and invited dealers to visit Xiaomi’s car manufacturing facility during the Beijing Auto Show in 2025. Vehicles slated for overseas launch will undergo validation at seven authoritative testing facilities across Sweden, Germany, Spain, and Italy, including the Arjeplog winter testing center and the Nürburgring circuit. Xiaomi Auto’s international website officially launched on August 26, 2025, and the company confirmed its official entry into the European market in 2027. Lu also extended an invitation to industry professionals involved in the internationalization and premiumization of Chinese automobiles to join Xiaomi Auto’s global team.
