On September 4 local time, the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) French Round took place at the Nevers Magny-Cours Circuit. This event marked the ninth round of the season and the first race following the summer break. In the day’s WorldSSP Superpole qualifying session, French rider Valentin Debise, riding for Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zhang Xue Motorcycles with bike number 53, secured first place, followed by Italian rider Federico Caricasulo (number 64) in second. Zhang Xue Motorcycles has already claimed six victories in the first eight rounds of the season and currently sits third in the manufacturers’ championship standings. The two French Round races will be held on September 5 and September 6 local time, respectively.
