Tesla Offers $800 Final Payment Discount for Total Loss Vehicle Owners—Order by Sept. 30

On September 5, Tesla announced the launch of a special care program for total loss vehicle owners, valid through September 30 (inclusive). During this period, customers whose vehicles have been declared a total loss and who place an order for a Model S, 3, X, or Y will receive an RMB 800 cash discount, directly applied to the final payment of their new vehicle order. This offer is open regardless of the original brand or model of the totaled vehicle, but requires that the owner of the totaled vehicle and the purchaser of the new Tesla be the same individual (as verified by the vehicle owner listed on the registration certificate). Additionally, the total loss insurance claim must have occurred between September 1, 2026, and the end of the promotion. To participate, customers must provide a total loss agreement issued by one of Tesla’s partner insurers: PICC Property & Casualty, Ping An Property & Casualty, China Pacific Property Insurance, China Life Property & Casualty Insurance, Taiping Property & Casualty Insurance, or Sunshine Property & Casualty Insurance.
