On September 5, Tesla China launched new light-colored headrests and lumbar supports on the Tesla App store and its WeChat Mini Program. The headrest is priced at RMB 219, and the lumbar support at RMB 269. Both products draw design inspiration from Tesla’s vehicle interior seats, featuring the "Tesla" logo printed on the surface and crafted from the same synthetic ultra-suede material used in the car interiors. They are filled with DuPont bio-based cotton. The lumbar support is contoured to match the seat’s curvature, aligning with the natural curve of the human lumbar spine. Tesla states that these accessories are compatible with all vehicle models but are not machine-washable. In case of water-based stains, the company recommends first blotting the area with a paper towel, then gently wiping it with a damp cloth wrung out with warm water. Tesla also advises against using dark-colored headrests or lumbar supports in vehicles with light-colored interiors.
