On September 7, the interior of the updated Aito R7 was unveiled for the first time. The new model features a streaming rearview mirror, redesigned wireless phone charging pad and cup holders, and adds a new multifunctional knob between the center armrest and the wireless charger. The air vents have been changed to allow manual adjustment. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a dual-screen setup, replacing the previous remote display with a head-up display (HUD), and the infotainment system has been upgraded to HarmonyOS, exclusive to Huawei's HiCar intelligent driving ecosystem. The audio system has also been enhanced, now including four overhead sky-channel speakers. Ambient lighting with a diffuse reflection effect creates illuminated light paths throughout the cabin. Earlier, on September 4, Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Executive Director, announced that reservations for the new Aito R7 would open this month.
