On September 7, Audi released official images of the all-electric A2 E-Tron compact car and announced plans to officially unveil the 2026 A2 model in autumn 2024, with market launch expected in early 2027. The new model features a rounded design and will be offered in a fluorescent green color option. Inside, it adopts Audi’s family design language and is equipped with a curved dual-screen setup. Technical specifications for the A2 E-Tron have not yet been disclosed, but it is expected to be built on Volkswagen Group’s rear-wheel-drive MEB platform and offer multiple battery capacity options. For reference, the Volkswagen ID.3 Neo is available with three battery variants—50 kWh, 58 kWh, and 79 kWh—with the 79 kWh version delivering a maximum range of up to 630 kilometers. The ID.3 Neo also offers three power outputs: 168 hp, 188 hp, and 228 hp.
