Stellantis’ circular economy business unit, SUSTAINera, is expanding its remanufactured parts operations from internal combustion engine vehicles to include battery electric and hybrid models. The product portfolio now encompasses high-voltage traction batteries, electric compressors, and electrified dual-clutch transmissions used in mild-hybrid vehicles. All remanufactured components are processed to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, delivering performance and warranty terms equivalent to MOPAR genuine parts. Compared with new parts, remanufactured components can reduce raw material usage by up to 80% and cut CO₂ emissions by as much as 40%. SUSTAINera has previously introduced remanufactured EV batteries to the market, repurposing them for stationary energy storage systems—such as the installation at Rome’s airport. Stellantis will showcase these remanufactured products at Automechanika Frankfurt from September 8–12, at Booth F84-E84 in Hall 9.0, and will present its aftermarket business model through on-site workshops.
