Auto Parts Exports Hit $9.34B in July 2026, Up 13.9% YoY; Imports Fall 27.1% to $1.45B

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers recently compiled and released data on the import and export of automotive parts for July 2026, based on statistics from the General Administration of Customs. In July 2026, exports of automotive parts amounted to USD 9.34 billion, down 4.1% month-on-month but up 13.9% year-on-year. From January to July 2026, cumulative exports of automotive parts totaled USD 60.36 billion, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year. In July 2026, imports of automotive parts amounted to USD 1.45 billion, down 2.8% month-on-month and down 27.1% year-on-year. From January to July 2026, cumulative imports of automotive parts totaled USD 11.25 billion, a decrease of 8.0% year-on-year. In July 2026, the value of automotive parts exports was approximately 6.4 times that of imports.
