On September 9, 2026, Li Auto announced that the Li Auto i9 will be unveiled on September 16 at 19:30. Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, released interior images of the i9, showcasing its zero-gravity rotating seats that enable a face-to-face seating configuration. The i9 is positioned as a six-seat all-electric SUV and features a “Home” badge on the rear, making it the second Li Auto model—after the MEGA—to carry the “Home” emblem. The vehicle has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 409th batch of the “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products,” published in July. It measures 5,225 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,752 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,168 mm. Powering the vehicle are dual motors: a front motor with a maximum output of 150 kW and a rear motor with 250 kW, jointly produced by Inovance Union Power System Co., Ltd. (Suzhou) and Jiangsu Li Auto Drive Technology Co., Ltd. The energy storage system uses ternary lithium-ion battery cells manufactured by Sunwoda and Jiangsu Contemporary Amperex, with the battery pack assembled by Zhejiang Li Auto Battery Co., Ltd.
