On September 9, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Chrysler is recalling approximately 202,000 Jeep vehicles from model years 2024–2026. Due to a software error, the vehicles’ Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) may fail to detect low tire pressure or illuminate the warning light as required. The recall affects multiple models, including the Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Grand Wagoneer, Cherokee, and certain plug-in hybrid variants.
