In its statement, Qijing Auto explained that the relevant staff member mistakenly shared internal work information in the media group due to an operational error and hastily disbanded the group upon discovery. The term "offense and defense" seen in the screenshot is an internal working phrase used for monitoring information, clarifying differences, and verifying facts regarding competing products launched around the same period—it does not refer to any planned attacks or disparagement of competitors. Additionally, Qijing Auto noted in the statement that the Qijing GX7 began pre-sales on September 4 as a five-seat SUV. The vehicle features a 20-second one-touch flat-folding rear seat function and offers 12 interior space configurations. When the rear seats are fully flattened, the trunk can accommodate four 20-inch suitcases, with a vertical clearance of 855 millimeters above the seats.
