Buick Century Black Gold Limited Edition Launches, Starting at RMB 549,900

On September 11, 2026, Buick announced the launch of the limited-edition Century CENTURY Black Gold Edition. Only 50 units will be produced, with prices starting from RMB 549,900. Among them, the four-seat Black Gold Edition is priced at RMB 709,900, limited to 10 units; the seven-seat Black Gold Edition is priced at RMB 549,900, limited to 40 units. The new model shares identical dimensions with the standard version, measuring 5,230 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,867 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. The body features a Black Gold two-tone finish applied through a 12-layer painting process, automatically sprayed by 112 dedicated robots. The four-seat variant features an “Amber Porcelain White” interior, adorned with a hand-stitched “Landscapes Like Paintings” motif comprising 136,092 stitches and over 2,000 meters of thread. It also includes genuine wood trim with silver-gilded landscape detailing and a gold-accented wool carpet. The four-seat Black Gold Edition is equipped with a full partition smart glass wall and a 32-inch retractable intelligent screen. The seven-seat variant features a “Chixia Dahei” (Crimson Dawn Black) interior. The seven-seat Black Gold Edition comes with a 1.8-meter electrically powered shared sliding rail for the second and third rows, arranged in a 2+2+3 three-row, seven-seat layout. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering a maximum output of 237 horsepower and peak torque of 350 N·m. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.
