On the morning of September 11, BYD Fangchengbao Auto unveiled six body color options for the Fangcheng S GT: Tech Silver, Fashion Green, Dynamic Yellow, Modern Red, Trendy Pink, and Hardcore Black. Previously, BYD announced that the Fangcheng S and Fangcheng S GT will officially launch on September 16. The two new models made their global physical debut at the Chengdu Auto Show 2026, with a pre-order price range of RMB 230,000 to 280,000. According to filings with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Fangcheng S measures 5060×1967×1483/1458 mm (L×W×H), has a wheelbase of 2960 mm, a curb weight of 2140 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 2580 kg, and a top speed of 240 km/h. It is powered by a single motor with peak outputs of either 245 kW or 300 kW, or an optional dual-motor setup delivering 190/300 kW, all paired with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The Fangcheng S GT measures 5025/5095×1967×1483/1458 mm (L×W×H), shares the same 2960 mm wheelbase, has a curb weight of 2170 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 2595 kg, and also achieves a top speed of 240 km/h. It features either a single motor with a peak output of 300 kW or a dual-motor configuration rated at 190/300 kW, also mated to LFP batteries. The Fangcheng S series will be the first to feature BYD’s Smart Ecosystem 2.0 and comes equipped throughout with PIN ports, magnetic connectors, and threaded interfaces.
