The 25th Qingdao International Autumn Auto Show 2026 opened, and Qingdao officially launched its "2026 Golden Autumn Consumer Incentive" new vehicle purchase subsidy program, allocating RMB 50 million citywide to subsidize individual consumers buying new vehicles. The subsidy targets individual consumers from within Shandong Province who purchase and register a new vehicle in Qingdao during the designated period. Buyers of new energy passenger vehicles are eligible for a subsidy of 4% of the purchase price, capped at RMB 12,000; buyers of fuel-powered passenger vehicles can receive a subsidy of 3% of the purchase price, capped at RMB 10,000. Subsidies are granted on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated funds are exhausted or the program ends, whichever comes first. This subsidy cannot be combined with Qingdao’s 2026 vehicle trade-in subsidy program.
