On September 11, 2026, Wey, a brand under Great Wall Motor, announced that the new variants of the VV GaoShan 8 and GaoShan 9 PHEVs will open for orders on September 14. According to the plan, the new variants will be sold alongside the current models, which are now available at a limited-time promotional price starting from RMB 265,800. The new GaoShan 9 PHEV comes standard with second- and third-row co-rail seating and dual zero-gravity rotating seats; it also features the CoffeeOS 4 cockpit system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chip, dual 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle cabin cameras, and a 29.6-inch integrated smart display. Standard advanced driver-assistance features include the Coffee Pilot 4 system, NVIDIA Thor-U chip, and front and rear dual LiDAR units. Powertrain-wise, it is equipped with a standard 2.0T engine paired with the Hi4 Performance intelligent all-wheel-drive system and an all-aluminum suspension. The new GaoShan 8 PHEV is fitted with a 53.9 kWh battery, delivering a WLTC all-electric range of 210 km and a CLTC all-electric range of 270 km. It comes standard with a 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screen and third-row seats with ventilation and heating functions. It also includes the Coffee Pilot 4 advanced driver-assistance system, NVIDIA Thor-U chip, and front and rear dual LiDAR units as standard equipment.
