On the evening of September 11, 2026, Great Wall Motor unveiled the "Obsidian Black" exterior color for the WEY Blue Mountain II. The automaker had previously revealed a light blue paint option for the vehicle, which has already been registered with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The WEY Blue Mountain II is positioned as an intelligent, premium "boxy" SUV. It measures 5,300 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,960 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm and tire size 275/50 R21. The front features a vertical-slat chrome grille and circular headlights, while the rear bears the "Blue Mountain" badge, a conventional tailgate, and dual circular taillights. The newly released images show the vehicle fitted with solid-disc wheels. Powering the vehicle is a dedicated 2.0T hybrid engine paired with a four-speed hybrid-specific transmission. The front electric motor delivers 110 kW, the rear motor 220 kW, and the system includes a 66.6 kWh (1/3C) battery pack. According to WEY CEO Zhao Yongpo, a new Blue Mountain product will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2026.
