On September 12, 2026, HuaJing Auto announced a full-scale OTA update scheduled for September 13, 2026, to roll out Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro. The HuaJing S is the first flagship large six-seater SUV co-developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei, featuring Huawei Qiankun ADS Pro Enhanced Edition and HarmonyOS Cockpit as standard across all trims. The vehicle was officially launched and began deliveries on May 8. On the morning of September 12, 2026, HuaJing Auto announced the addition of four new configurations for the HuaJing S, bringing the total number of available trims to eight, with super trade-in prices ranging from RMB 149,800 to RMB 196,800. On April 23, Huawei officially launched Qiankun ADS 5, introducing features such as anti-misoperation steering wheel control and Parking-to-Parking 3.0. Huawei stated that upgrading from Qiankun ADS 4 Max/Pro/SE to the corresponding Qiankun ADS 5 Max/Pro/SE versions faces no hardware limitations.
