On September 12, Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast appointed Pham Nhat Quan Anh, the eldest son of founder Pham Nhat Vuong, as its global Chief Executive Officer. The 33-year-old Pham Nhat Quan Anh, who became Chairman of VinFast Global in May 2026, succeeds his father as CEO while continuing to serve as Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. Pham Nhat Vuong will remain on VinFast’s board of directors.
