On September 14, 2026, Chery Automobile announced the launch of Apple Watch vehicle control functionality for its models, with the Fengyun T9L as the first supported vehicle. This feature syncs vehicle status to the Apple Watch, allowing users to check range, climate control, and charging status, as well as perform functions such as unlocking the car, locating the vehicle, activating climate control, and operating the power tailgate. The Chery Fengyun T9L was launched in April 2026 as a large five-seater SUV, with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price range of RMB 129,900–186,900 and an early trade-in price range of RMB 125,900–182,900. The vehicle is equipped with the Falcon 700+ intelligent driving assistance system and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6P chip. In terms of exterior design, the Fengyun T9L offers color options including Mountain Mist Purple, Qinghu Blue, Danxia Black, Xueling White, Shilin Gray, and Mingsha Emerald. It features “Ink Dot” headlights at the front, conventional-style door handles on the sides, and “Ink Wash Long Rainbow” taillights at the rear. Inside the cabin, the vehicle is fitted with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen and a 17.3-inch 3K rear-seat entertainment screen. It also integrates the high-end Falcon 700 driving assistance system with a computing power of 560 TOPS. It is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng AI Super Hybrid CDM 6.0 system, delivering a fuel consumption of 3.9 L/100 km under low battery conditions, a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 5-second range for the all-wheel-drive variant, and a CLTC pure electric range of 230 km.
