China Automotive Hundred Association Annual Conference and High-Level Forum on Intelligent & Electric Vehicle Development (2027) to Be Held January 22–24, 2027

On September 15, 2026, the China EV100 Institute announced at a media briefing that the China EV100 Annual Conference and High-Level Forum on Intelligent & Electric Vehicle Development (2027) will be held from January 22 to 24, 2027, at the China National Convention Center under the theme “Building on the New Development Paradigm to Achieve New Growth in the Automotive Industry.” The media briefing was chaired by Liu Xiaoshi, Deputy Chairperson of the China EV100 Institute. At the briefing, Zhang Yongwei, Chairperson of the China EV100 Institute, shared insights on the current state and future outlook of China’s automotive industry. Shi Jianhua, Deputy Chairperson of the China EV100 Institute and Dean of the EV100 Think Tank Research Institute, outlined the design, organization, and preparatory progress of the China EV100 Annual Conference (2027). According to Shi Jianhua, this year’s forum has established a “1+1+1+N” conference framework, comprising one high-level forum, one high-level seminar, one international forum, and multiple thematic forums, accompanied by three concurrent exhibition events. For the first time, the forum will establish a Steering Committee, inviting industry experts and corporate leaders to serve as its members. The high-level forum will run as a full-day agenda, divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session, themed “Forging New Advantages for High-Quality Automotive Development,” will cover topics including global and Chinese automotive market trends, technological advancements, supply chain dynamics, evolution and implementation pathways of cutting-edge intelligent and electric technologies, strategies for steady growth in the new energy vehicle market, and the pace and integration approaches of cross-sector technologies—such as artificial intelligence—entering the automotive field. The afternoon session, themed “New Cycles in the Automotive Industry and Pathways to Sustainable Growth,” will address industrial operational characteristics and priorities in the new cycle, corporate strategic shifts and business model transformations, market expansion and product strategies, key areas of technological deployment, internationalization strategies, and innovations in organizational structures and talent mechanisms. The High-Level Seminar on China’s Automotive Industry Development Trends and Policy will selectively invite leaders and expert representatives from relevant government departments, industry organizations, research institutes, and enterprises across the automotive, energy, transportation, and technology sectors. Discussion topics will include policy pathways to boost automotive consumption, directions and countermeasures for reforming the automobile consumption tax, strategies and policies to enhance industry operational capabilities, new opportunities and risks in the internationalization of China’s automotive industry, support systems for multinational enterprises operating in China, directions for major technological innovation and breakthroughs in frontier technologies, building secure and resilient supply chains, supporting ecosystems for large-scale deployment of autonomous vehicles, establishing new frameworks for the AI-driven automotive era, and systemic designs to further decarbonize the automotive sector. The International Forum will bring together representatives from countries involved in the global automotive industry, international organizations, and corporate executives to discuss emerging opportunities and challenges in the global transition toward electrification and intelligence, coordinated approaches to cultivating localized industrial chains and building charging/swapping infrastructure, pathways to constructing cross-regional next-generation supply chain systems, service operations and collaborative ecosystem models in energy, autonomous driving, and automotive aftermarket sectors, vehicle-grid integration, overseas implementation of integrated photovoltaic-energy-storage-charging solutions, and international harmonization of regulations and standards. Thematic forums will focus on specific areas including AI + Automotive, Market and Consumer Trends, Sustainable Development of Commercial Vehicles, Vehicle-Energy Integration, Aggregated Intelligence, Intelligent Vehicles, Frontier Technologies under the “Three News” Framework, Next-Generation Automotive Talent, Power Batteries, and Automotive Servitization. The forum will feature three dedicated exhibition zones: Complete Vehicles, Industrial Chain & Supply Chain, and Aggregated Intelligence. During the event, the China EV100 Institute will release multiple industry research reports for the first time in a concentrated manner.
