Great Wall Motor's Tank 300 "Hooke Trail" officially opened for blind pre-orders on September 15, 2026, and will launch on the market on September 20. The official price has not yet been disclosed. Blind pre-order benefits include priority production scheduling upon order confirmation, a RMB 3,000 customization credit, and an exclusive co-branded accessory kit valued at RMB 3,000. Based on the current Tank 300 model, the new variant adds off-road equipment, featuring redesigned front and rear bumpers, black lower body cladding, a towing device, and a snorkel. A passive night vision system is available as an option, and the exterior gains exclusive decals and other distinctive markings. The vehicle measures 4,886 mm in length, 1,984 mm in width, and 1,960 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm. It offers an approach angle of 41° and departure angles of 34°/36°, and comes equipped with 265/70 R18 tires. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing a maximum output of 170 kW and peak torque of 400 N·m. The suspension system upgrades from the standard Tank 300’s front double-wishbone independent setup to a solid-axle non-independent configuration, resulting in a dual rigid axle layout front and rear. It includes reinforced front axle housing, control arms, and short trailing arms. Overall suspension rigidity is increased by 38%, enabling compatibility with 40-inch tires.
