Recently, Yangwang announced via official channels that the Yangwang U9 will receive a new OTA update. The update introduces several new features, including the ability to toggle navigation voice prompts during phone calls, automatic recording functionality for the dashcam, vehicle settings added to the mobile app, and customizable time scheduling for Sentry Mode. The Yangwang U9 was launched in the first half of 2024 as a fully electric vehicle, equipped with a quad-motor powertrain. Each motor delivers a maximum output of 240 kW, resulting in a combined power output of 960 kW (1,306 hp), peak torque of 1,680 N·m, and a peak motor speed of 21,000 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds and completes the 0–400 meter sprint in 9.78 seconds, with a top speed of 309 km/h. The vehicle is powered by an 80 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 450 km.
