Buick Zhi Jing E7 Refreshed Model Launches on September 23

On September 17, 2026, Buick officially announced that the refreshed Buick Zhi Jing E7 will be launched on September 23. As of now, the company has not released further details about the vehicle. On September 16, the 30,000th unit of the Buick Zhi Jing E7 rolled off the production line. The brand simultaneously launched a limited-time promotional offer, including a RMB 1,000 deposit redeemable for RMB 6,000 off the purchase price, up to RMB 7,000 in trade-in subsidies, and complimentary compulsory traffic insurance for a limited period. With all available benefits combined, the limited-time trade-in price for the Buick Zhi Jing E7 starts at RMB 149,900. The current Buick Zhi Jing E7 measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,676 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Its exterior features a closed-off front fascia and split-type headlights, semi-recessed door handles on the sides, and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. For intelligent safety, it is equipped with the Momenta R6 reinforcement learning large model, covering scenarios such as highway driving, urban navigation, and parking. In terms of passive safety, the body structure achieves a maximum strength of 2,100 MPa and includes child-protection-designed side curtain airbags and head-impact protection zones for rear-facing child seats in the second row. Powering the current model is the Zhenlong Plug-in Hybrid Pro powertrain, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 235 km and a combined range of 1,630 km, paired with a preview-based RTD continuously variable damping suspension system.
