On September 18, 2026, XPeng Motors announced the addition of a new “Crescent Silver” exterior color for the XPeng GX. On the evening of September 17, during the XPeng G9L launch event, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Inc., revealed that the XPeng GX has delivered over 25,000 units cumulatively within four months of its market debut, ranking among the top three large SUVs priced above RMB 300,000 for two consecutive months. The XPeng GX was launched on May 20, offering both battery-electric and range-extended powertrain options, with prices ranging from RMB 279,800 to RMB 359,800, plus a limited-time discount of RMB 10,000. At launch, it was available in five exterior colors—Everest White, Polar Black, Fjord Grey, Danxia Red, and Desert Gold—and three interior schemes: Dawn White, Forest Mist Purple, and Platinum Brown. The vehicle measures 5,265 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,115 mm and equipped with 22-inch wheels. Interior features include a 21.4-inch 3K ceiling-mounted display and a 17.3-inch 120Hz central touchscreen. Additional amenities comprise a frost-free, air-cooled car refrigerator (voice-controlled), Lingjing AI Sound Max audio system with 33 speakers throughout the cabin, Alcantara headliner, Nappa leather upholstery, wood-grain center console trim, and triple-layer ambient lighting. In terms of powertrain, the range-extended version is powered by a 1.5T range extender, delivering a pure electric range of 430 km and a combined range exceeding 1,585 km. The battery-electric variant is built on an 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform, offering a maximum CLTC range of 750 km and supporting 5C ultra-fast charging. All variants come standard with dual-chamber air suspension and CDC damping control.
