Recently, Delta Intelligence and Changan Tianshu Intelligent Robotics have entered into a strategic partnership. The two companies will focus on automotive manufacturing industrial scenarios, establishing a closed-loop R&D workflow spanning “scenario requirements – data collection – model training and edge deployment – real-robot validation – data feedback – continuous optimization,” to advance PoC validation, demonstration applications, and industrial-scale implementation of humanoid robots in automotive manufacturing settings. Together, they will develop application solutions enabling humanoid robots to perform tasks such as vehicle final assembly, logistics transportation, on-site inspection, assembly operations, material loading/unloading, and quality inspection, while integrating the entire chain from technology development and simulation validation to real-robot tuning and scenario-based demonstrations. Delta Intelligence was founded in January 2026 as a spin-off from the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence (BIGAI), focusing on foundational models for native humanoid robots. The company has independently developed a native 3D world engine that uses 3D representations as its core modeling approach, capable of processing 3D scene representations such as point clouds and Gaussian splatting. Built upon this engine is a three-layer collaborative architecture comprising a “brain + cerebellum + hybrid force-position control” system. Additionally, Delta Intelligence has developed Delta D1, a head-mounted, full-body panoramic data capture device. Featuring a lightweight, wearable design, Delta D1 integrates a multi-camera mixed-reality sensing system, including a 220° ultra-wide-angle 4K primary camera, dual 160° wide-angle 2K secondary cameras, and an embedded high-precision IMU positioning module. It simultaneously outputs first-person panoramic environmental visuals, full-body high-precision skeletal motion trajectories, and fine-grained details of hand-end manipulations. Delta D1 captures full-body skeletal data covering all joint dimensions, synchronously recording first-person perspective video, surrounding panoramic views, and tactile information. Previously, data collected by Delta D1 has been validated on multiple humanoid robot platforms, including Unitree G1 and H2, Agility’s Lingxi X2 and A3, Leju Kuafu Gen 4 and Gen 5, and Xinghaitu Kengo. Changan Tianshu Intelligent Robotics specializes in the development of industrial humanoid robots, system architecture design, and scenario-based integration validation, with a focus on diverse industrial work scenarios within automotive manufacturing.
