On September 15, Harmony Intelligent Mobility and Aito jointly issued statements announcing that, effective immediately, Aito will explore a new cooperation model under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility framework, with the Aito brand becoming exclusively operated. This past Monday, Xu Qinsong, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group China, delivered an internal address to all employees of Huawei’s Smart Selection Vehicle business, emphasizing the need to strengthen the Harmony Intelligent Mobility brand. Xu stated that the authorization entity for certain Huawei mall stores will shift from Huawei to Seres, changing from the previous "Three Jie" (Sanjie) authorization to Aito-specific authorization, which will be managed by Seres. During the meeting, Xu clarified that Aito will not fully exit Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s channel system. Specifically, while advancing “exclusive operation” and building an independent Aito sales network, a certain proportion of stores will continue selling Aito models within Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s shared showrooms. Xu also instructed the team to keep driving the development of the other “Four Jie” brands and to integrate the leadership of the four OEMs into the Harmony Intelligent Mobility system. On September 18, 2026, Kang Bo, Director and Vice President of Seres Group, responded by stating that product definition, design, brand marketing, retail channels, and service systems will be led by Seres, with Huawei Consumer Business Group providing enabling support.
