On September 18, 2026, at the "New Track Ecosystem Session: Embodied Intelligence as a New Frontier" of the 22nd China Automotive Industry Development (TEDA) International Forum, Tan Huan, Chief Expert of Changan Automobile and General Manager of Changan Tianshu Intelligent Robotics Company, delivered a speech. In his address, Tan Huan outlined Changan Automobile's roadmap for robotics: first modularizing automotive components such as cockpits, center consoles, and armrests; then advancing toward intelligent mobility ecosystem robots covering logistics handling, warehousing, cleaning, energy storage, and refueling; and further expanding into scenarios like inspection, security, and firefighting. In terms of overall planning, Changan aims to use robots to build cars, use robots to sell cars, integrate robots into vehicles, and ultimately achieve the goal of using robots to build robots. Specific applications include deploying robots in 4S stores for vehicle sales and commercial services; promoting modularization and intelligence of automotive components within vehicles; and extending into broader mobility-related scenarios such as commerce, specialized industries, households, offices, and retail. In April 2026, Changan Tianshu Intelligent Robotics Company was officially established.
