Recent reports indicate that Harmony Intelligent Mobility may launch two new models in the 9 series within 2026, one from the Luxeed brand and the other from the Shangjie brand—specifically, the Luxeed R9 and Shangjie H9. The Luxeed R9 will offer a version equipped with active suspension, while the Shangjie H9 will feature optional steer-by-wire technology. This information has not yet been officially confirmed. Luxeed is a joint brand developed by Huawei and Chery. Its current 9-series offering is the Luxeed V9, an MPV. On September 15, Chery’s procurement system posted a tender notice for a vehicle handling and stability development project involving components related to active suspension. Shangjie is a brand co-launched by Huawei and SAIC Motor, representing the fifth “-jie” (Boundary) brand under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility family. Shangjie’s first model, the H5, recently debuted as a city SUV priced around RMB 150,000, featuring Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 intelligent driving system and Harmony Cockpit. On September 15, Harmony Intelligent Mobility and Seres jointly announced that Aito would explore a new collaboration model under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility framework, with Seres taking the lead in product definition, design, marketing, channels, and services, while Huawei Device Business Group provides enabling support.
