On September 19, 2026, YiJing Auto released a video. The video referenced the 16-ton vertical container roof crush test announced during the pre-sale launch event held in August, in which the A, B, C, and D pillars remained structurally intact with no deformation, and the doors could be opened normally. At this month’s YiJing Safety Technology Briefing, Zeng Qinglin, General Manager of the YiJing Auto brand, showcased a video of the YiJing X9 undergoing a 20-ton roof crush test. In this test, the balancing platform at the bottom of the container was removed, and the container was kept level using lifting cables attached to both sides. The roof’s curved top surface made direct contact with the container over a small area to bear the load. The test successfully withstood 20 tons, with no deformation observed in the vehicle’s structure. The 20-ton capacity represented the maximum limit of the on-site crane. The team had previously decided to publicly release the 16-ton test video conducted without the balancing platform. The YiJing X9 opened for pre-orders on August 18, with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 299,800 to RMB 379,800. Specifically, the extended-range AWD Ultra+ Flagship Long Range variant is priced at RMB 379,800, the extended-range AWD Ultra+ Long Range variant at RMB 339,800, and the extended-range Max Long Range variant at RMB 299,800. The YiJing X9 measures 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. It features the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS, equipped with dual 17.2-inch 3.4K screens. The vehicle is also fitted with an 896-line dual-optical-path imaging-grade LiDAR system and can be configured with Huawei’s Qiankun four-LiDAR solution at its highest specification. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the YiJing X9 delivers a CLTC pure-electric range of 465 km and a combined range exceeding 1,500 km.
