On October 30, in response to online claims that the "official yellow cars are actually wrapped in film and no yellow production vehicles are scheduled," Xiong Tianbo, general manager of BYD Group's Fang Cheng Bao division, responded with real photos, stating that the Dynamic Yellow exterior color of the Formula S is in normal production and shipping, and that many stores lack display vehicles because production started relatively late. The Formula S is Fang Cheng Bao's first all-electric coupe, officially launched on September 16, with a price range of 189,900 to 229,900 yuan, including a high-performance SGT version in the lineup. Positioned as a mid-to-large coupe, it measures 5,060/1,967/1,483 mm with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm, offers six factory paint colors and supports optional peelable paint film. For intelligent driving, it features the God's Eye B advanced driving solution with LiDAR, supporting highway and urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) as well as automated parking. In terms of power, the Formula S offers rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options. The two-wheel-drive version comes in two power tunes of 245 kW and 300 kW, while the all-wheel-drive version delivers a combined maximum output of 490 kW, with the GT high-performance variant using the same all-wheel-drive powertrain. Range and fast charging rely on the second-generation Blade Battery, achieving a maximum CLTC range of up to 900 km; with the 800V fast-charging platform, charging from 10% to 70% takes 5 minutes, and from 10% to 97% takes 9 minutes.
