On October 30, 2026, BYD Auto officially released exterior and interior official images of the third-generation Tang large five-seat SUV. According to the disclosed information, the third-generation Tang features a full-width integrated light bar, second-row legroom exceeding 1,000mm, and a second-row seat recline angle of 130°. The vehicle debuts Star Twin Screens, including a 35.4-inch integrated long-range star ring screen and a 30-inch panoramic giant screen, replacing traditional instrument clusters and HUDs. The new car is the first to feature an all-new giant screen UI interaction system, equipped with an AI pet desktop named "Little Bread," and the interaction system's function windows support combination and size adjustment. The vehicle offers storage spaces including a front trunk and drawers under the second-row seats, and the rear seats support full flat folding. A dealer pre-payment information document exposed earlier this month showed that the 850km rear-wheel-drive Laser Premium trim has a pre-payment of 225,000 yuan, and the 850km rear-wheel-drive Laser Flagship trim has a pre-payment of 240,000 yuan. The four-wheel-drive version has not yet opened its procurement channel.
