BYD's Second-Generation Seal 07 to Launch on November 5

October 30 news: BYD's mid-size sedan, the second-generation Seal 07, will officially launch on November 5. The new car has previously opened blind pre-orders, offering benefits such as blind pre-order perks, priority production scheduling and delivery, and free customization. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5080/1960/1495mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2960mm. The front trunk has a capacity of 160L and is equipped with lighting; the rear trunk has a capacity of 618L and adopts a dual-layer design; the interior features 39 storage spaces. The front row is equipped with zero-gravity seats offering massage, ventilation, and heating functions, while the rear row supports a comfort large-bed mode. The new car is equipped with a 6.8L smart cooling and heating refrigerator, with a cooling temperature range of -6°C to 6°C, and can also heat and keep warm. The interior offers 3 color schemes, and the exterior offers 6 body color options. In terms of powertrain, the new car offers both plug-in hybrid and pure electric options. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 115kW, and a drive motor with a maximum power of 160kW, paired with a 38.029kWh battery pack, offering a WLTC pure electric range of 245 kilometers and a fuel consumption of 4.25L/100km under depleted battery conditions. The pure electric version is built on an 800V platform, equipped with second-generation blade batteries and flash charging technology, allowing range replenishment with 5 minutes of charging, full charge in 9 minutes, and an additional 3 minutes at minus 30°C. The pure electric version adopts a rear-mounted single motor, with a peak power of 245kW for the low-power version and 300kW for the high-power version, and a maximum CLTC range of 875km. In terms of chassis, the pure electric version is equipped with the Yunian-C intelligent damping body control system.
