Horizon Robotics' Chips and HSD System Adopted in BYD's God's Eye B Solution, First Model to Launch in November

October 30 news: Following God's Eye C, Horizon Robotics' chips and HSD assisted driving system have entered BYD's God's Eye B solution. The specific installation volume and model planning are decided by the automaker, and the ratio between Horizon Robotics and BYD's in-house solutions has not yet been fixed. In the God's Eye C solution, some chips are supplied by Horizon Robotics, while the software is developed in-house by BYD; in the God's Eye B solution, Horizon Robotics supplies high-compute chips plus HSD, while retaining some automaker in-house chips and Nvidia supply. Previously, Horizon Robotics' main product supplied for God's Eye C was the Journey 6M, with 128 TOPS of compute. The Horizon Robotics chip used in God's Eye B is a unique part number. Currently, God's Eye B models generally carry a single Nvidia Orin-X, with 254 TOPS of compute. Since June-July of this year, reports have said that BYD's new vehicles launching in November 2026 will carry a new version of God's Eye B, adding Horizon Robotics' Journey 6P + HSD software stack solution, involving subsequent high-end new models from Denza, Han, and the Ocean Network. A September research report from Huaxing Securities shows that Horizon Robotics' shipments in God's Eye C have rebounded to 80,000 to 100,000 units per month and are still growing; the report mentions that the first model with God's Eye B equipped with Horizon Robotics chips will launch in November. BYD released its all-people intelligent driving strategy in February 2025. God's Eye is divided into three solutions: Version A (DiPilot 600) for the Yangwang brand; Version B (DiPilot 300) mainly equipped on Denza and BYD brands; Version C (DiPilot 100) covering mainstream BYD brand models. The Journey 6 series began large-scale mass production in February of that year with deliveries of God's Eye C models. HSD is a one-stage end-to-end urban assisted driving system built by Horizon Robotics based on the Journey 6P, which has 560 TOPS of compute. As of the time of reporting, HSD has reached cooperation with 10 automaker brands at home and abroad, with cumulative designated models exceeding 20.
