GAC Group Responds to Investor Inquiry: No Recall Required Over "Quick-Built Vehicle" Issue

On October 30, 2026, GAC Group responded on an interactive platform to an investor's question about whether the company has "rushed" vehicle models that need to be recalled. GAC Group stated that, as of now, the company has not been required to implement a recall due to "rushed vehicle" issues. GAC Group said that the company has established a testing and validation system covering complete vehicles, systems, and components, including 12 major validation categories and more than 1,500 validation sub-items for complete vehicles, as well as extreme-environment validation standards such as "two winters and one summer" and "five high, one mountain, one dust," and has established a quality traceability and recall mechanism covering the entire product lifecycle. GAC Group previously introduced its testing and validation system using the Trumpchi Yue 7: it invested 685 actual vehicles for road testing, completing validation of millions of kilometers; it went through a three-year development cycle and completed the "two winters and two summers" test; and it completed a durability test equivalent to 500,000 kilometers per vehicle, equivalent to driving around the equator 12.5 times.
