#Byton’s first M-Byte body-in-white
Byton’s M-Byte is a medium-sized and large-scale pure electric SUV, which will provide 2WD and 4WD models with a cruising range of more than 500 kilometers and acceleration 0-100 km/h in 5.6s. Recently, the first Byton M-Byte body-in-white has been officially rolled off the assembly line in Nanjing plant. According to the previous official plan, the pre-sale price and major configuration of the new car will be released in the third quarter, and its mass production will be done at the end of the year.
# HUAWEI establishes smart car solutions business unit
According to Huawei’s internal document, the company established smart car solutions business unit. The newly formed department will operate under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Management Committee, and offer end-to-end smart mobility solutions including ICT equipment and applications to car manufacturers. In the document, Huawei mentioned that it will not make cars but providing support to car-makers.
In Huawei's organizational structure, both BU and BG are the first-level departments. With the establishment of the smart car solutions BU, Huawei currently has three major BGs, including Carrier BG, Enterprise BG and Consumer BG, and two Bus, which are Cloud BU and Smart Car Solution BU.
#HYCAN ET rolled off the assembly line
GAC-NIO HYCAN Co-Creation's first model ET has been rolled off the assembly line in the trial production workshop of GAC-NIO New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. It is reported that the NEDC cruising range of this mass-produced version reached more than 600 km and will be unveiled at the end of 2019. It is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2020.
