On June 28, the Ministry of Finance of the PRC and the State Taxation Administration issued the "Preferential Policies for Vehicle Purchase Taxes to be Continued Implementation", stating that from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, the purchase of NEVs will be exempted from vehicle purchase tax. This announcement will take effect on July 1, 2019.
