#Evergrande NEVS 93

Recently, with the NEVS 93 officially mass-produced at the Tianjin plant, Evergrande has turned the “production mode” on. The NEVS 93 is a pure EV based on the Swedish Saab Phoenix E platform and Saab technology.

NEVS has completed the development of this model before Evergrande entered the market. In addition, the new car is also the first NEV to be mass-produced by Evergrande, which means that Evergrande has already had large-scale mass production capacity.

#Jetta VS5

Volkswagen's new sub-brand Jetta released three new products in 2019. They are two SUVs including VS5 and VS7, and a sedan VA3. Jetta's first SUV VS5 will start pre-sale on July 12.

Its front grille will be equipped with LED light headlights, and the new car is equipped with a 1.4T engine. In addition, it is reported that the price of the Jetta VS5 is less than 100,000 yuan (approximately $14,576).

#GAC & Didi

Recently, Didi Chuxing, China’s largest ride-hailing firm, and Guangzhou-based GAC Group signed another strategic cooperation framework agreement to carry out more in-depth cooperation in such fields as vehicle customization, car operation, autonomous driving and mobility marketing, automotive aftersales, intelligent charging, refueling and time-sharing car rental.

#Thomas Müller as VW China EVP

Dr. Thomas Müller has been named executive vice president and head of the R&D department of Volkswagen Group China (Volkswagen China), effective July 1, according to the automaker's announcement. At the same time, he is also a member of the Management Board of Volkswagen China. As the head of Volkswagen China's R&D arm, Dr. Müller will primarily work on integrating and further enhancing internal research power of Volkswagen brand, Audi and Volkswagen China in the ONE R&D structure. The Volkswagen China now has more than 4,500 engineers responsible for future technology research and development.
