At the end of 2018, a new generation of Blazer was launched in North America. At the end of 2019, a new generation of Blazer settled in SAIC GM, and debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

On April 16, IIA learned from SAIC that the Chevrolet Blazer will be officially listed tonight. The new car includes 5 models, specifically 2 standard versions, 1 Redline series, and 2 RS series. With the styling design of pure American SUV and the standard configuration of up to 70 items, the Blazers will become Highlander's strongest competitor.

The Chevrolet Blazer is based on the pilot concept version of the SNR FNR-CarryAll. The exterior has a customized design of the Redline series and the RS series. The front end adopts the Chevrolet family-style double grille design, with a blackened honeycomb mesh, which brings a strong visual impact. The upper part of the star split LED headlights is the turn signal LED daytime running light, and the lower part is the standard far and near light integrated automatic LED headlights.

The length, width and height of the body are 4999mm, 1953mm, and 1736mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2863mm. The entry-level models are equipped with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels; the top-mounted models provide 21-inch six-spoke Y-smoked wheels and Michelin LATITUDE SPORT 3 series tires; the other three models are equipped with 20-inch wheels.

The tail shape of the Chevrolet Blazer echoes the design of the front and sideways, and the lines are also muscular. The dual Y-shaped LED taillights echo the Y-shaped elements in the rim, and the interior consists of 31 LED lamp beads. The double exhaust tailpipes are surrounded by off-road, which highlights the strong and pure American SUV feature.

The interior of the Trailblazer has two exclusive customized designs of the Redline series and the RS series. It inherits the classic flying wing double cockpit design of Chevrolet and innovates into the sports technology interior style of the legendary sports car Camaro. The new car adopts the "2 + 3 + 2" seat layout. The front and rear sliding distance of the second row of seats is increased to 25cm. .

The 10-inch central control screen adopts a suspended design. The shape is different from the polygon of the overseas version. Below is the mechanically sensed inner and outer ring double-rotation air conditioner outlet. The outer ring is rotated to adjust the temperature, and the inner ring is adjusted to adjust the air volume. The top configuration model provides a dual-barrel sports instrument panel with an integrated 8-inch LCD display. Other models are equipped with a 4.2-inch color digital information instrument.

The new car is equipped with the eighth-generation Ecotec 2.0T intelligent variable-cylinder turbo engine, using Tripower three-stage intelligent variable-cylinder technology, which can intelligently adjust the valve lift according to the working conditions in real time. Switching between working modes, the maximum power is 174kW / 5000rpm, and can continuously output 350Nm peak torque in the speed range of 1500 ~ 4000rpm.

The 9-speed HYDRAMATIC® manual-automatic gearbox matched with the 2.0T engine has a wider speed ratio range and a finer gear distribution. It has the characteristics of fast shift response, high torque tolerance and high reliability. Its shifting timing is more precise, and it can switch to 9 gears at 95km / h. With the standard Start & Stop self-adjusting intelligent start-stop function, the Chevrolet Blazer's comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is as low as 7.4L.

The RS model of the new car is equipped with a four-wheel drive system and provides a variety of driving modes such as Normal comfort, AWD four-wheel drive, Off-road off-road, and Sporty sports. Among them, the four-wheel drive system equipped with the top model has the Twin-Clutch function, and the clutches on both sides of the rear axle independently control the torque, which can realize the continuous distribution of the left and right rear wheel torques at 100: 0-0: 100, and the maximum torque output of the rear axle can be Up to 3000N·m.
