Chery launches a new generation of Tiggo 5x

Tiggo 5x is a small SUV of Chery Automobile. On July 16, IIA learned from Chery that the new generation of Tiggo 5x was officially launched and launched a total of 6 models. The new car adopts the latest family design style, adds a new style of air intake grille, and comprehensively upgrades the interior. In terms of power, the car continues to be equipped with a 1.5L engine. 

The new generation of Tiggo 5x follows Chery Automobile's "Life In Motion 3.0" design and is designed by STEVE EUM, the core member of Chery's international design team, Chery Automobile Design Executive Director. The entire body uses a large number of sculpted surface elements.

The large-size dot matrix air intake grille with crystal diamond lens LED automatic headlights and G-type dynamic daytime running lights further enhances the three-dimensional sense of the entire front face. The in-line chrome decoration throughout the tailgate widens the visual width of the rear. The rear bumper equipped with silver trim echoes the front bumper trim.

The new generation Tiggo 5x interior uses a new family design, the overall layout is similar to Tiggo 7, with a 10.25-inch central control screen, 7-inch full LCD instrument and 8-inch air-conditioning touch screen. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with Carplay/Carlife mobile phone interconnection, artificial intelligence voice control, mobile APP remote control, etc.

In terms of safety configuration, the new generation Tiggo 5x is equipped with Bosch version 9.3 ESP, ACC full-speed adaptive cruise, BSD blind zone detection, AEB automatic emergency braking system, LDW lane departure warning system, RCTA rear cross warning, 360° panoramic HD image, Speed limit reminder, six airbags.

The new generation Tiggo 5x is still equipped with a 1.5 engine. The maximum power of this engine is 116 horsepower and the peak torque reaches 143 Nm. It is matched with a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox.
