It is reported that the 10,000th Xpeng P7 officially rolled off the assembly line at the Xpeng Smart Factory in Zhaoqing of Guangdong province. Xpeng P7 was launched in April 2020, with 3 models, 8 configurations, 5 body colors and 5 cabin themes for selection. In addition, the 10,000th Xpeng P7 will have a specially designed "P7 10000" exclusive logo at the rear.

In December 2017, Xpeng's Zhaoqing plant completed the groundbreaking ceremony and started construction on June 27, 2018. It will be completed and trial production at the end of September 2019. This is Xpeng's first self-built vehicle production base in the world. The Zhaoqing factory has an overall plan of 3,000 acres. The factory has five workshops for stamping, welding, painting, final assembly, and Pack. It has the flexible production capacity of 4 models of different platforms and a total of 264 intelligent industrial robots.

At the beginning of the project, the Zhaoqing factory was built in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards. The advanced MES manufacturing execution system, combined with the Internet of Things technology and monitoring technology throughout the entire production process, can realize the visualization of production information, equipment information, process information, and quality information.

Xpeng P7 is full of sporty styling. The side adopts a sleek design without waistline, a hidden handle and a frameless door design, making the body more streamlined and sportier. The body length, width, and height are 4,880mm, 1,896mm, and 1,450mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2,998mm, and the drag coefficient is as low as 0.236.

In the interior, Xpeng P7 adopts a through-type instrument panel design and consists of two LCD screens. It adopts a 10.25-inch full LCD dashboard + 14.97-inch central control screen combination. On the right is a 14.97-inch floating screen that supports touch, which has a strong sense of the future. In addition, the hidden air outlet and the buttonless panel make the entire central control screen more concise.

In terms of power, Xpeng P7 uses a new generation of high-performance and high-safety power batteries jointly developed with CATL. The energy density is as high as 170Wh/kg. The maximum power of the performance version is 316 kW, and the peak torque is 655 Nm. The 0-100km/h acceleration time of the new car reaches 4.3 seconds. In terms of endurance, the NEDC endurance of both rear-drive and high-performance models exceeds 560 kilometers, and the maximum NEDC endurance of rear-drive ultra-long endurance models reaches 706 kilometers.
