Buick sold 99,057 new cars in October, up 27% YoY

IIA learned from SAIC GM that the Buick brand sold 99,057 vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 27%. Cumulative sales of 687,439 vehicles from January to October 2020.

Specifically, the new generation of Buick GL8 family sold 17,716 new cars in October. The cumulative sales of the GL8 series from January to October were 118,695, including the three major series of GL8 Averir, GL8 ES and GL8.

The SUV family sold 21,241 new vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 45.3%. Cumulative sales of 168,411 units from January to October, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%. Among them, ENCLAVE sold 1,972 units in October, and Avenir and flagship models accounted for nearly 50%. The ENVISION S model sold 3,379 units in October, setting a new monthly sales record since its launch. ENVISION’s cumulative sales from January to October was 112,375, and Encore GX and Encore A total of 29,723 vehicles were sold from January to October, a year-on-year increase of 67.4%.

Among sedan and NEV, Regal and LaCROSSE sold 19,464 units in October. Cumulative sales from January to October were 149,976 units, an increase of 16.1% over the same period last year. Among them, the brand new LaCROSSE sold 4,895 units in October, an increase of 48% year-on-year. Regal sold 14,569 vehicles in October. Excelle sold 33,789 units in October, an increase of 106.5% year-on-year, the best result in 21 months. The VELITE family has sold 11,149 vehicles from January to October, a year-on-year increase of more than four times.
