Chery sold 88,000 vehicles in October, up 25% YoY

IIA learned from Chery Group that the automaker sold 88,000 new cars in October, an increase of 28.1% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 25%. Specifically, the domestic sales volume was 74,903 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20.4%, and 13,001 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 60.3%. NEV sales reached 5,451 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 43.6%.

In October, Chery sold 55,000 new cars, an increase of 29% month-on-month and 35.2% year-on-year. Jetour sold 16,000 vehicles, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. The sales of joint venture brands Chery Jaguar Land Rover and COWIN were 5,508 units and 3,987 units respectively, an increase of 48% and 86% year-on-year.

In addition, from January to October, the group exported a total of 86,680 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 9%, of which 81,758 passenger cars were exported, a year-on-year increase of 39%. 

Up to now, Chery Group has exceeded 8.75 million global car users, and the total number of exported cars has exceeded 1.65 million. In October, Chery Group ushered in a number of blockbuster models on the market. These include a new generation of Exeed TXL, Tiggo 8 PLUS, a new Tiggo e, Jetour X70 PLUS and a new generation of Jetour X90.
